From November 12 - 19, 2008, finishing during the TRAFFIC DownUnder conference, Sedo will be conducting an auction of bundled names from CoCCA members.

These are cross-TLD “roadblock” bundles — the same term across multiple TLDs. A full list follows at the end of the post.

From the CoCCA site:

Q. What if I dont want all the domains in the bundle ?
A. The successful bidder can “unbundle” the domains – transfer to a new registrar, change registrants and renew any of the individual domains in the bundle. Once auctioned, they are no longer bundled.

Q. Why are the names being bundled ?
A. The names are sold in a bundle in the belief that a group of premium names with different suffixes represents a better value to the market than a single premium domain from a single ccTLD.

Q. What are the on-going costs post-auction ?
A. Renewal Fees vary for each domain in the bundle and are guaranteed for three years. Registrant Transfer and Registrar Transfers fees (if applicable) are guaranteed for three years.

Q. Where can I manage these names ?
A. There are over 100 CoCCA Registrars [including most ICANN-accredited registrars] connected by EPP or a web-based GUI. Most likely the domains can be transferred to your registrar of choice - or they can be managed via the CoCCA Public Registrar.
