Contestant #11 - Community DNS

Community DNS logo

Community DNS is a UK-based outfit which emphasizes their DNS offering. Community DNS advertises an “incredible DNS resolution platform” with “a staff of over 100 skilled programmers.” They have a highly technical FAQ, and their site is full of facts and figures that will appeal to the skilled DNS junkies, as well as a DNS test server you can log into right on the site. As yet they don’t have any pages devoted to new TLD aspirants.

Not responding to our request for information was FRED, a Czech-based open-source registry solution. If and when I do hear from them, I’ll post something up. In the meantime, they did give a PDF presentation at the ICANN meeting in Sao Paulo.

That’s the end of the series, folks. Next up: a summary post and a downloadable summary PDF. Stay tuned. (Go to summary post.)
