Contestant #9 - CORE

CORE is the most experienced registry after VeriSign, with roots going back to the 1990s and pre-dating ICANN. CORE stands for “Council of Registrars” and is a consortium of very smart people who share resources. Its center of gravity is in Europe, but they have many members. CORE members know their way around ICANN very well, and they have done us the favor of putting together an informative page about their registry operator services.
