What to do about new gTLDs?
February 15th, 2006
On the heels of a comment I made on his blog, I was invited to the estimable Bret Fausett’s Internet Pro Radio show to talk about whether it’s worth having new generic top-level domains, how they should work, and how they should be handled. I was joined by the bitter Chris Ambler, who had all the answers but wouldn’t say, and the engaging Elliot Noss.
Bret is one of the few people in the Internet governance area who doesn’t have an axe to grind, and his blog is a great resource. He’s become a huge podcasting fan, and our interview, which got some good reviews, is just the latest.
Here’s the mp3 of the discussion (39 MB, 42 minutes).
