New blog on the ccTLD aftermarket

January 27th, 2006

Among ccTLDs, .uk and .de have been in the forefront, but it looks as if others are getting some play as well. The Globe Domains Blog has a series of post of available 3-letter domains in various ccTLDs, news about significant aftermarket sales. I hope the author branches out to talk a little more about the ccTLDs themselves, but I’ll be keeping an eye on this blog.

  2. Thanks for the list. I read through the rules for the registration of a .ie domain, and I don’t understand how “bunnies.ie” and “bushbabies.ie” were ever registered. Were there really companies named Bunnies and Bushbabies?

  3. Maybe :)
There are a number of ways of getting an IE domain.. You could use a registered business or if you have a registered business or operate a company, you can use the discretionary category. Do a whois on blogging.ie for example :)
The key thing is that you should demonstrate a reason why you are registering the domain
